Old photos of cars/car races...

As some of you may know, me and my parents used to visit Mallory Park and Donnington Park and Silverstone quite regularly, as well as Santa Pod drag strip.
Well I had a cheap fixed shutter speed & aperture, wind up, 35mm camera back then, being about 7 years old...
But having looked through my photo albums earlier today, I have come across a few photos I thought would be nice to share.

And just incase this of interest to anyone,

The car I was sat in on the photos, was some sort of Petrobras Junior Formula 3000 car...

I believe it was either Antonio Pizzonia's car, or Ricardo Sperafico's car.

I'm about 75% sure it was Antonio Pizzonia's though.

I've just looked for the program from that year, as Formula 3000 were the support act/feeder championship for Formula One.
And I know for a fact I had some pretty big drivers signatures from the F3000 championship, Including Pizzonia, Patrick Friesacher, possibly even Mark Webber!
Although at the minute I can't find it!!

That brought back a few memories of Mallory for me, having been active there during the seventies as a flag / startline marshal. One weekend in 1976 was particularly memorable, in that the small space of two days included just about EVERYTHING! (Don't ask!)

I think I've heard the story... The tent, with your feet sticking out, and someone starting their car right next to it?
